P.A. Day Camps

RHP Training Centre is excited to release our P.A. Day Camps for the new school year!  Each of our P.A. Day Camps will now focus on a particular theme.  Topics for the upcoming season will include:

Scoring – November 17th, 2017

No better feeling than scoring a big goal playing hockey! Join of us for the scoring theme P.A Day to learn shooting techniques, scoring areas, and how to fake out opponents and goalies. Tips for forwards and defence on how to find the back of the net more often.

Battles – February 2nd, 2018

Come work hard this P.A Day with Battle geared training. Body positioning, stick checks, escapes are all important battle aspects that we will focus on. Make sure to come out of a battle puck on stick with RHP!

Team Skills – March 2nd, 2018

Hockey is a team sport! Spend the day with us to learn how to be a valuable teammate. Passing techniques & skills, puck support, and communication will be the main focuses of this P.A Day camp.

Defensemen/Offense in Game Situations – April 16th, 2018

A 2 way player is a complete player in the sport of hockey. Learn how to be positioned properly on the ice, what to do in certain situations, and the tips and tricks of being an effective player. Forwards and defence will both benefit from this day.

Creative Skills – June 18th, 2018

The sport of hockey is evolving every year so don’t get left behind! Come learn the new hockey skills and techniques that will bring your game to the next level this P.A Day. New skating, stick-handling, shooting skills that will help you get an edge over the opponents.

ONLY 18 REGISTRANTS ACCEPTED per age group (6 to 8 years old and 9 to 12 years old) for our Full Day Camps that include:

  • 2.5 hours of on ice instruction each day
  • 45 minutes of skating development on the Blade
  • 1 hour of age appropriate dry land training
  • Lunch Provided by RHP Training Centre
  • Camp runs from 8:30am to 5:00pm

Athletes are to register in the group that corresponds to their current age.  Any decisions to move athletes will be made solely by RHP Training Centre staff.
